I have tried really hard NOT to care about how many visits or followers I get. VISITORS I have pretty much decided are beyond my ability to control because of the suspect way that 'Google Analytics' crunches those numbers. I have had the same average for a couple of months now so maybe I have reached the peak of my ability to attract visitors. So be it. I am comfortable in my niche position. I know what I do is great.
But the FOLLOWERS insanity has to stop. I swear there is some troll in Google headquarters that takes glee in letting me watch the number creep up to 200 - 197, 198, 199 and then back to 198. It JUST happened. And I know that back and forth will continue until at least 205 when I can relax and enjoy myself once again.
I am a slave to validation but that is only because I live in the real world where I get NONE of that. So cut me a break Google. Go pick on someone else and leave the Cave of Cool and it's resident monster alone.
