One of the few posters showing the Charlton characters that were bought by DC and formed the basis for Alan Moore's WATCHMEN. If Moore had been allowed to use these characters by DC his epic story would have had a much different look. I think freed from any kind of continuity allowed Moore to take basic archetypes and create his own mythology around them.
